Suliman Abdulaziz Azzabin is the Managing Director of Capinnova Solutions. He is also the Board member of Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia and Al Rajhi Capital Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Capinnova Solutions, Mr. Azzabin was the Chief Executive Officer of Al Rajhi Bank, one of the world’s largest Sharia compliant banks, headquartered in Riyadh, KSA.

Mr. Azzabin’s professional career spans over 20 years within the business world and he has been holding various progressive leadership roles, steadily growing his career. Mr. Azzabin is a strategic thinker and is considered to be an expert in Islamic banking and finance. Expert. He started his career with SABIC and spent more than a decade holding various senior responsibility functions including: business continuity management, credit & collection, insurance and risk.

Mr. Azzabin holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from King Saud University and an M. Sc. in Risk Management from Southampton University, UK.

Anjum Shahzad is an international banker with more than twenty years of experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, audit and policy formulation. Prior to joining Capinnova Solutions, he served in Saudi Arabia as the Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management of Al Rajhi Bank, the world’s largest Islamic bank.

Anjum’s other high profile positions within the banking industry include Head of Risk Management and Deputy MLRO of Capinnova Investment Bank (Bahrain), Head of Risk Management of Bahraini Saudi Bank (Bahrain) and Head of Risk Management & Compliance of Atlas Bank (Pakistan). Anjum is looking forward to sharing his expertise of the regulatory landscape with clients of Capinnova Solutions and helping them achieve their goals.

Anjum’s solid experience, across various functions and geographies, is a testament to his diverse background within banking. He has worked in almost all types of banking (multilateral development banking, central banking, conventional banking, Islamic banking, investment banking) and hands on experience of developing various frameworks (Governance, Risk Management, Asset Liability etc.). He is well versant about regulatory landscape and thorough knowledge of CAMELSS, CAELS, IRAF and BASEL II & III regulatory frameworks.

Anjum holds M.Sc. Economics from International Islamic University Pakistan and MA Economics from Yokohama National University Japan.

Tahir Rao is a seasoned international risk management and an internal audit leader with overall 20 years of experience in the areas of enterprise risk management, operational risk, compliance assurance, internal control, fraud risk management, internal audit and business continuity management.

Tahir worked with many banks such as Standard Chartered Bank, United Bank Limited, Arab National Bank, Union National Bank and Emirates Islamic Bank in senior positions in business banking, risk management and internal audit departments. He has implemented operational risk framework and system in two regional banks as per Basel II accord and international best practice requirements

Paul Boucek is a seasoned business advisor who has worked for both Canadian and international banks. He has proven track record of developing and implementing effective strategies to enhance shareholder value. His knowledge and experience in financial and consulting industries enables him to grasp any situation quickly and lead his team to a sustainable solution.

Paul is a successful business project manager having successfully completed program several years in duration and having multi-million dollar budgets. He holds a GREEN Belt in Lean Six Sigma and is a Project Management Institute member in good standing. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.

He enjoys mentoring and is currently facilitating project management courses to young professionals at several multinational companies.

Tahir Butt is an award winning digital world professional with 35 years of experience in Business and IT management and a degree in social sciences behind him pioneered the first digital community in the Middle East back in 1980s and first commercial virtual community in year 2000 by creating the first Online banking solution in the Middle East. His professional relationship with cyber world started as soon Internet became a reality in early 90s and continues to date.

His area of expertise is not limited to electronic banking industry only and stretches to any business development & digital business transformation which targets virtual consumer marketplace.
